How much is high school marching band worth?

-I moved from Wisconsin to Georgia and i play trumpet in band. I recently got my braces off so I'm still getting used to playing. Well the school I'm going to go to has a wonderful marching band and I want tk be in it but is costs $550. I'm in a tlso brace for scoliosis right now so I would be really hot and it's two days after school every week in the fall and two weeks during the summer everyday. I can't decide weather or not to join. Also o have to decide by tomorrow (Thursday) thanks inadvance!If you can afford the $550, I would say go for it! Marching band is a great thing to be involved in during school, as it teaches you the value of hard work and discipline and allows you to build some of the best friendships you will ever have.



And also, if the money is an issue, try talking to the band director at your new school. Many schools will waive fees for students in tight financial situations, so it would be worth a shot.
