If it's an action, is it a verb?

Might be stupid, but if there is an action that is not performed by person / me, is it a verb?



E. g.: "It rains.", "It snows."



It is, right? Because "The wind blows.", "The cloud snows/rains"?



Thanks.Yes it's still a verb. Like personification. "The cat sang the blues." sang is still a verb.
Verbs are actions.

How i used to remember was from the commercial "VERB! It's what ya do!"
a verb is always a verb. rain and snow are both verbs, no matter what. and i'm pretty sure all actions are verbs
