Im scared of going to high school..?

-Ive been homeschooled since the 4th grade, and i dont really remember what public was like.

My mom just had major brain surgery and she cant walk because she has blood clots, so I cant get school supplies because my dad has no idea what i should get and she cant take me clothes shopping for school clothes either because he works and when gets home from work hes tired and all he wants to do is sleep.

Anyways, im really nervous. Its starts in late august (18th i think) and im afraid of being the "odd one out" if you know what i mean, im shy and i hate talking to people. i dont plan on talking to anybody there except for the teachers or whatever. i dont want to get into all the drama, the boys breaking your heart, im too young for a serious bf anyways.

Im scared of lockers, and ive always been the person to always mess up! Like i wont know how to use a locker, because ive never used one before, and nobody will teach me because they wont know i dont know how to use one.

and i really really dont want a bottom locker.

also, do you think its stupid to wear heels to school? like 4 inches at the max. cause thats the only shoes i have :\If you have boobs, you'll be fine
Dont where heels because you going to have to do PE the first and second day you just sit there in PE and the days after you have to exercise. Do you live in the hood or the rich white area im guessing rich white area. Not every school has lockers. I live in the ghetto and my high school had no lockers. I also went to a rich white people high school before and they had no lockers either. The only place they had lockers was the gym. Are you fat. Im guessing no because fat girls dont wear heels. As long as your not fat your going to be fine. By fat I mean over 180lbs anything over that girls have trouble making friends. If you ever get your dad on a day hes not tired have him take you to a store called DDs if you have one wear you live there clothes are cheap like 3 dollars a shirt and 5 dollars for a pair of jeans. Im only saying about the store because I dont know if your rich or broke. Also if there are lockers dont be scared your entering as a freshman right. No ones going to think your stupid if you dont know how to work a locker. But its not rocket sciences. You going to have 6 different teachers for each subject. Math , history, sciences, PE, english, elective , and elective is like art or music class ect. Well if you "plan" not to talk to no one you better make a plan of what your going to do by yourself for a half an hour. Lunch is 30 mins to an hour depending what school you go to.

For school supplies you will need

1. backpack any kind

2.line paper

3.lead pencils with extra lead

4.high lighters

5.binder 3 ring

Also your going to need money for lunch because its not free or have your parents fill out the papers for lunch to see if you can get free lunch

I forget to tell you theres this thing called independent study and its kind of like home school except you have a school and a teacher. The way it works it that the teacher gives you a packet of homework and you do it and turn it in the next week you visit you teacher once a week to turn in homework. You get high school credits for every packet you turn in. Its much faster then regular high school and depending on how you are about doing homework you can even graduate early. I have been to regular high school and independent study. If you do independent study you dont have to worry about kids of lockers or any of that. You just go to school once a week for an hour or less just to talk to your teacher and turn in homework then you go home with a new packet to compete. Just go to google and google indpendent study high school to find one in your area if your interested.

sorry if my grammars all over the place or messed up im typing fast and I dont feel like fixing the mistakes but you know what I mean
First thing's first, moving from being home-schooled to a public high school is definitely a big step. But it's nothing to fear. You'd really want to make a few friends. A few close girlfriends. Most people usually find their circle of friends within/less than a month depending on how you are socially. You will and should talk to classmates. Don't worry, most kids are really nice. To avoid drama - you avoid "those " people. You'll know who. Don't get caught into the drama. Just be friendly, that's all -- nice.

You should spend a weekend, or just one or two day shopping for school. Try and get as much done. I'm pretty sure you can Google a list of school supplies. As for school clothes, wear something casual, nothing fancy. Also, ditch the heels. You need a regular pair of shoes. Nothing too fancy. In the summer, flats are fine. But sneakers work. I wear converses to school everyday. :) Maybe if you have PE/Gym, you're required to wear sneakers.

You shouldn't be afraid to use lockers. When I started high school, I never knew how to use a locker but someone helped me figure it out. A teacher would even help you out with that.

Just remember to be reallllllly nice, be sweet and friendly/approachable.
