What's AP US History and Spanish 3 like?

-This is my first year that i'm going to be taking an AP class and i'm starting to get worried from reading other peoples experiences. The same goes for Spanish 3. So, what are these classes like?WOW! haha, Lucky for you, APUSH was my first ap class also and I also took Spanish 3 :D

Spanish 3 came really easy to me, I enjoyed the language and my teacher was very good at her job, if you did well in Spanish 1 and 2, you should be fine in Spanish 3. There's a lot of grammar involved though, a bit harder but I think you'll be fine.

APUSH was hard for me because of all the reading, personally I didn't read them so I didn't do great on the exams haha, but I still passed. Looking back at it now though, since I'm in college now, it's really not that bad. Just make sure you do what your teacher tells you and you should be fine, APUSH for me was just lots of bookwork and reading, Spanish is lots of grammar.

Good luck to you kid :)I think it honestly depends on the attitude and approach you take on them. Others may have had bad or "Luke warm" experiences, but that's solely their fault. Whether they slacked off, didn't pay attention, had distractions that held them back etc. I took AP US H and French 3, and i personally enjoyed them, though my teachers, weren't my favorite; I applied myself the best way i could and did well. The classes should give you a challenge ( AP US) (Spanish3)- simple because there more advanced classes. Start with an approach of knowing it wont be easy, so you can get into a mindset to do your best and try harder. In AP US, we did do alot of readings, assignments and papers buts that was due to our teachers discretion, the only annoying part is the test at the end of the year. I had to speak french while in class with minimal English which is something you should get accustom to in order to learn any language.

Just apply yourself and you'll do fine. Good Luck
