-Okay so I just graduated from high school and i'm trying to join the Air Force. The only thing that's holding me back is a drug charge from when I was 15. So my recruiter told me I have to wait until September to come see him again to sign a waiver. In the mean time i'm looking for a job but most places are only accepting people who are 18. It's such a drag!! I don't even have my driving license yet, I have to wait until i'm 18 to take the test! My other option is to pay like 200 dollars to get driving lessons when I already know how to drive just fine! Can someone give me some insight?I started working at Subway the day after I turned 16 and by the time I graduated and was 17 I was making 10 dollars an hour, not bad, just wait it out until SeptemberI graduated at 17 too. I started as a fast food cashier once I got experience working I was able to get on at a temp service making more money. Fast forward 6 years im a nurse but in the middle of going back to get a higher degree..
Time is your advocate....
Look around locally. Local places usually hire!
