When does school start for most people?

-So many people are asking about back to school supplies. School used to start late August or early September.Late August here.It's never too early to be prepared, you can get the good stuff at this time.

Here we start August 24 (that's a Wednesday)

Where I live in Canada school starts September 7th every single year. My friend in England goes back to school in mid October, but his summer also starts in late July so...
It would depend on the part of the country you live in. I live in New Jersey and school public school starts in early september and other schools start in late august.
