When i finish 12th grade i want to take a trip to the us?

-I have never been in the US so i am a bit of a 'beginner' when it comes to the US.

Can you say where i should go first? I like L.A , but is that a good city for 'beginners'.

I have travelled a lot in Europe.

And Visas? I am a Swedish and Portuguese citizen. Do i need to get a visa for leisurely purposes?

Do i need to go to the US embassy ?LA would be the last place in the US I would go. It is full of smog, traffic and is expensive. It has a very high cost of living. there.



Fly into Chicago. It is a good starting place in the middle. The South is beautiful- go to the mountains in Tennessee. The ocean coasts of South Carolina. There is nothing like New Orleans.



the US does not have the great public transportation like Europe does. Trains are not as convenient. There isn't any cheap safe places to crash for teens.
As for where to go when you come to america. I guess you could go to LA but i would go to New York. There is a ton of stuff there, and LA is just filled with a lot of people, it's only good to visit if you know exactly what your doing.
