The first day of school!?!?

-what do you normaly get for back to school shopping also tips to stay organized outfit and hair ideas how to make new friends and makeup ideas (i rarely wear that much makeup) also im going into the 8th grade(:Hey I'm going into 8th grade too!

1-For back to school shopping, I get a backpack, pencils, pens, notebooks, lined paper, colored pencils, sharpies, glue sticks, Elmer's glue, and erasers, pencil case, and you might need a graphing calculator (which I highly recommend even if you don't need it in class-it is wonderful for homework and even has games on it!). If you don't get a supply list when you get your schedule (which I do, so I also get what it says on there too) wait t- buy everything else when the teachers tell you what you need on the first day.

2-Staying organized sure is a task! First, I recommend getting a binder that zips, like this - http://www.sz-wholesale.com/p/Marksman-Z鈥?/a>

It serves as a pencil case, holds all of your papers, and holds your notebooks! I would also get some pocket dividers that are labels for each class. It really helps! Also, some locker shelves (if your lockers are big(ish) like your height. You can put your books and binders there, and hang up your backpack. When you go to your locker to drop off your books, you can put whatever you need into your backpack. Also, get another BIG binder and pocket separators to leave at home. When you need to clean out your folder, put whatever you don't need in that! That way, if you need to give the teacher a paper or need to study for finals, all the material is right there! Keep all these folders organized! :)

3-For hair and outfits, don't follow what everyone else is doing! Make your own style of clothes, and be creative! If you have long hair, you could straighten it, crimp it, curl it, or french braid (or regular braid) it. You could even just put it up in a ponytail or messy bun!

4-Making new friends is pretty easy but it takes some time.! You don't have to be super talkative and start conversations with everone either. Your teachers are bound to put you in group activities, so meet them that way (if your shy). If you don't know anyone at your school, during lunch walk up to some nice looking people (lol) and ask if you can sit with them! It's as simple as that! Also, when your talking to someone, direct the conversation about them. People (especially girls-incuding me ha ha!) LOVE to talk about themselves, but don't get too personal right away.

5- What I usually do for makeup is just use eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner. I take a little bit of eyeshadow (mine is a gold/bronze color because I have red hair, but you can use whatever color you think would look best on you [I recommend browns and tans, bright colors just look silly]) and I put it all over the lid. Then I take some eyeliner and put it in the waterline of my eye. Finally I just put some mascara on my top and bottom lashes, and I'm done! It takes a total of probably 2 minutes.

But the most important tip is to be yourself! There is bound to be some people who share your interests, but don't get discouraged if you don't meet these people right away! :)

Good Luck!!!! :)
Organization in school: Keep a binder for every subject, and neatly label each section. Every term, clean out your binders and keep important papers and toss unimportant ones to prevent clutter.

Outfit ideas: I've discovered the coolest outfits are plain looking tops, single or double toned, and a statement accessory. For example, a checkered button down shirt and a nice black tank top underneath with a chunky beaded yellow necklace and matching earrings, a denim flair-out skirt and black leggings with grey boots. That's just an example. As you can see, nothing really sticks out in that outfit but the necklace, but if you picture the outfit in your head it looks coordinated. Now picture the outfit without the accessories. It seems much more bland, doesn't it? I feel like accessories make all the difference and clothes should be kept to single or double toned and smooth fabrics. I think that will be a big trend this fall.

Hair ideas: Well, I'm not really sure what your hair looks like, but soft waves are always cute, and you can get them by using a hair straightner. I strongly suggest you look up how to make soft curls with a hair straightener on youtube, that's where I found out how to make them in my hair! Those will definitely be trending this fall.

Making friends: Carry yourself with confidence, and don't talk trash about people, however tempting it may be. The confident girls are always the ones with a lot of friends. Don't be ashamed if you're put down, and don't try to follow anyone around; that doesn't make friends! Let friendships happen gradually!

Makeup ideas: Brown toned eyeshadow and brown liner and a little bit of black mascara. That's all you need to wear in eighth grade, and it looks really great on anyone!
