-im a 15 year old shy girl, i dont have many friends but i want more friends so i was thinking about joining some activities or sports, i thought about cheerleading for a while but i dont think its my thing, actually i just dont want people to be like, uh why is she a cheerleader and stuff... then i thought about volleyball... but i just cant decide, oh and im going to be in the dramaclub next year, and im freaking out! im so nervous! ive been taking acting classes before but this is just... i mean, im just so freaking nervous, i dont know what to do about it! and i want to join one more activity... what should i do!?if you want to be in cheerleading just do it! don't let other people make the decision for you. if people are thinking things... you can shut their mouths up if you're good at it when they see you perform haha. joining a sport will definitely help you to make new friends. pick the sport you enjoy most regardless of other people's opinions! also, join more than just one club if you have the time to . try joining classes such as student government, yearbook, drama... those people will probably be like a second family to you haha. just get out there and do extra curricular activities!
If your school has a student council then I'd suggest joining that. You have a lot of fun and everyone is really spirited. You'll make a lot of new friends from all grades and get to plan some really cool events. Plus you'll have a voice in your school. Volleyball at my school is really competitive so you have to have some skills. Tennis and golf can also be fun too. Cheerleading can be fun too. It doesn't hurt to try out. Its really just all about getting people pumped for games and showing school spirit.
